Message from the Webmaster

As Webmaster for the Navy website it is my job to maintain and ensure the site is up to date with the most recent content to better serve you. However, to do this my job relies on the fact that the content comes from you, you the Members. Remember, the website is not my website; it is all of ours website.

For each division, it will fall on the division president (or someone they appoint) to provide me the Webmaster with information on their division, teams, schedules and results. It will not be my job to chase after division presidents for content on their division; if the division content is out dated, please bring up your issues with the division president not the Webmaster.

If you are responsible for coordinating a bonspiel or and event at Navy Curling Club it is also your job to make sure the website contains the most up to date information about the bonspiel. Remember the website is a way for you to market/advertise your bonspiel or event; if it's not on the site, people won't know about it and thus not participate. You can always use the Navy Classic or Evening Ladies' Bonspiel as a reference point of what to provide. Again I won't come after you for the content on your bonspiel or event.

Members are also encouraged to take advantage of the New/Announcement section of the website when they have information they would like to share with fellow members and curlers. If you have an announcement to share, please send the full details of the message you would like to post on the website to webmaster@curlnavy.com, and I will ensure it is posted on the website. Please no personal messages.

Please note that content will be posted to the website on a first come first serve basis and that the start of the season will be exceedingly busy for the Webmaster with all divisions requiring the schedules to be posted, so please be patient during peak periods. An email message will be sent to you when your requested content has been posted to the website.
