Format for the event
- This is a Skins Format round robin event
- Please see attached rules sheet for full skins format rules
- Maximum of 9 Teams or 36 curlers; spares are welcome
- Skips auction for team members
- Skips will be chosen by Sean Haase
- All Games are 7 Ends unless restricted by time
- Club time rule is in effect for all games
- At the conclusion of each game the Third from each team should record Win / Loss and score.
- Winner of the round robin takes the trophy
- In the event of teams having same win / loss record, winner will be based on +/- points. Failing this a Tie-Breaking game will be set up to determine the winner.
Skins Rules
- Each game will consist of seven ends
- Points for each Skin (end) is shown below
- A Skin is won either by:
- The team with last rock taking two or more points, or
- The team without last rock stealing one or more points.
- If neither team wins the skin, then the points are carried over to the next end; this can happen when
- The team with the hammer only takes one point, or
- Teams blank the end
- If the team with the hammer wins the skin, or if there is a carry over of the skin, then the other team gets the hammer
- If the last end played results in a carry over, the two skips will draw closes to the button, no sweeping passed T-Line, to determine which team wins the remaining points
- If a team must default a game, then the opposing team will receive the win as 10 0
