KEY HIGHLIGHT 2011-12
1. Tyrie McGregor, current Board Member and Club's Past President (03-05), was appointed to the OVCA's Board of Directors at their September 2011 semi-annual meeting.
2. Nancy Morris, Navy Member, Honourary Life Member and Club's Past President (96-97), confirmed as LCA President District 2. In 2012-13, Nancy will be president for both Districts 1 & 2.

Buzz Dumaresq, long time and current member, celebrated his 80th birthday on Oct,10th, by throwing 80 curling stones in the slide delivery at the club. Buzz was led onto sheet # 2 by a drummer and piper as is the Scottish tradition. Observing and cheering him on was his wife of 57 years, Sadie, a former long time club member, and many of his family members. What a great way to celebrate such an important milestone in his life.
