Membership at our club provides you with lots of Good company, Good Curling, and Good times. Our members traditionally volunteer in some way and the success of our club depends on members being generous with their times and talents. Join us!

The Curling Club is a 4 sheet rink. It is operated by a volunteer Board of Directors. Our membership is approximately 400 adult curlers with a very strong Junior program. It is centrally located near Dows Lake and we are on the same property as the military base. We are also home to 3 rental leagues who play on Monday & Thursday evenings and on Saturday mornings.

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY - CLUB MANAGER

The RCN Curling Club requires a manager for the 2013-14 season.

The manager is responsible for the daily operations of the club including bar service. Other key responsibliites include processing of memberships, daily accounting, casual club ice and lounge rentals, ordering and purchasing of food/beverage as needed, arranging for service providers etc.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm.

Full time employment is required for the period of: starting on last Monday in August and ending on the last Friday in April. Part time work is an option in the off season.

OPENING COCKTAIL EVENT - MEET & GREET FOR MEMBERS and NON MEMBERS - Thursday Sept 5th at 6:30PM

This is an opportunity for new and former members to find out more about the club's activities and curling events and consider becoming members.

For returning members, this is your opening social event of the year. Members are reminded that they are required to sign up or reconfirm your curling events for the coming season. This is an excellent venue for you to complete that process.

What's Happening at the Club

June 15th

CELEBRATION OF LIFE FOR BEVERLY MASON-LEROUX - 1pm to 5 pm at the club. The Mason & Leroux family invites all members, family and friends to drop by and share in the memories of Bev's eventful life in the manner that she wants us to celebrate her time with all.

May to August

The club's summer project manager will be working limited hours, will respond to all emails, etc but will not be working set hours. Members and non members wanting any information should send an email to the manager's account.

 

Navy's Novice - Learn to Curl Program - SUNDAYS AT 1:30 PM

Learn to curl while having Fun. Each week, Qualified instructors will assist you with the techniques on how to play the game. Join the Navy's league which is held on Sundays at 1:30pm. You can join the program at any time during the season.
